The FC2-100 Frequency Clamp can limit frequency signals to either a maximum or minimum level. It is primarily used to avoid fuel cut by limiting frequency type MAF sensors to their normal operating range. When used on vehicle speed sensors, it can remove the vehicle speed limiter. The FC2-100 can also be used to calibrate a speed sensor signal to compensate for different tire size. It can switch an external load based on RPM or vehicle speed. This can be used to trigger a shift light, cooling fan, etc.
