The Toyota Supra from the 1980s used an air flow meter that was common on Toyotas in those years. These air flow meters were somewhat unique in that they read from 5V to 0V as flow increased. This was the opposite of most air flow meters of the day which read from 0V to 5V as flow increased.
We developed the PSC1-005 version of our programmable calibrator specifically for these applications. This calibrator makes it possible to do a MAF conversion on these cars with the benefits of improved throttle response and better torque and horsepower. The PSC1 will work on all Toyota applications that use this inverted output air flow meter.
